Let's build a website together.

So, I have this bad habit of not paying for software. Being attracted to open source stuff, I have usually found all of my needs met by an open-source alternative to a mainstream software package.

However, when trying out FTP applications for OS X I was constantly banging my head against my impeccably designed, sleek-ass, glow-in-the-dark MacBook Pro keyboard. The problem wasn't the lack of free FTP programs, only that none of them actually worked (I have this weird thing where I like software to work properly).

Then I found an insanely awesome little software company called Panic. They have this insanely awesome little FTP client called Transmit. They also have some insanely awesome nerd swag as well. If I owned a software company, I can't imagine I would do anything differently than those guys. The website is excellent, the software works every time and I just get teary-eyed when I think about it.

Next I have to try Coda. It is truly hard to switch up ones workflow, but I probably have no idea what I am missing.

I only wish I were this satisfied by Adobe products.
